Candle Care

Get the most out of your candle by taking care of it.

Here are a few tips:

  • The first time you burn our candles, it’s important to allow it to burn for about 3 hours to create a full “melt pool” This will ensure the melted wax reaches all the way to the edge of the container. Candles have a MEMORY - the very first time you burn one you have to allow it to melt to the outer edges of the vessel!

  • This allows for a clean, even burn all the way down. if the first burn is too short the candle will only burn down the middle, creating a tunnel.

  • Trim your wick every time before you re- light the candle (we just pinch off the little black tip with our fingers!)

  • All our candle containers can be re-used. Just wash out the container with warm soapy water...use it as a planter for succulents, makeup brushes, craft supplies etc.

  • It is important to keep your lit candle away from any draft or direct air flow (i.e fan, window, heating and cooling)
